We are excited to announce our 2021 youth-oriented Marxist summer school scheduled for July 23rd-August 1st! The Little Red Schoolhouse will take place place in person in New York City!
At the week-plus-long school, attendees will receive an introduction to Marxism-Leninism and the ideological contributions of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, V.I. Lenin, Gus Hall, Henry Winston, Claudia Jones, Angela Davis, and more! We will take-up and study the art of working-class organizing. Films, walking tours, and social and cultural events will also be a prominent part of the schedule!
The purpose of this school is to collectively update our analysis of the youth question and assist the process of rebuilding the Communist current in the youth and students movements, along with refounding a national Young Communist League.
Membership in the CPUSA or YCL is not required to be accepted to the school, and everyone aged 18-35 is encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to women, LGBTQ, Black, Latino, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Indigenous comrades.
All meals will be provided. If you do not live in New York City, room and board provided by the national CPUSA office and New York State Communist Party.
Full covid vaccination will be required to attend.
