The PRO Act: A Panel Discussion on Labor Law and Workers Democracy

People’s World, The Building Trades for Workers Democracy, and the Amazon Labor Union are hosting an important panel discussion on the PRO Act.

The PRO Act is a bill in Congress that will significantly change labor relationships in the United States, making it easier to organize for unions, punish corporations who violate worker's rights, and foment solidarity. Labor activists and organizers will discuss how the PRO Act matters to organize key industries like construction and tech giants like Amazon. We will explore how current U.S. labor laws prevent effective working class organization, and how this new policy could open a new horizon for workers' power.

The event will be in-person and over zoom. To attend in person, you must have your covid vaccinations and and have proof of vaccination with you at the door.
